2nd graders have had fun learning about land forms. After working hard to research and create questions about land forms, we created a game show green screen presentation.

World Read Aloud Day is today, Wednesday, February 24th.  Three fifth graders wanted to use the video equipment and record a read aloud for the entire school.  With help from Ms. Longanecker and Mrs. Dufraine, here is their exceptional video.

The Bee-bots have arrived and the Kindergarten students gave them a workout.  Using the shape mat, they had to give the Bee-bots commands. Starting at the  Blue square they had to give commands to successfully move and turn to a chosen shape.  What fun!

The first graders have been hard at work.  Working in pairs or partner of three, they had to construct a "How To" story with 4 steps.  After coming up with a topic, and writing the 4 steps they used the iPad app, PicCollage, to write their steps and illustrate the steps by taking pictures with the iPad camera.  Here a two examples:



The fourth graders have been hard at work learning about Canada and the 13 provinces and territories and working on a project about Canadian animals.  We used the Canadian Geographic website: www.cgakids.ca, they chose an animal, researched and took notes to create a Google Drawing for that animal.  After that, we practiced our interviewing skills and used the green screen.  With the Google drawing, and the green screen interview, we moved onto learning how to use iMovie.  Here are some
